On the 24th
of August 2006 we came home from Sweden with little 9 weeks old Edelrood,
and as he was bought for hunting, we changed the name to Rod, which in
Danish means a ruffian, and it turned out that the name fits him very well.
He was extremely playful and full of life, which he still is.
He keeps our old RR-male Ludvig (11 years) young and they are the best
friends.
Rod was
introduced to hunting, when he was 10½ weeks old, but he did find the stag
very big and smelling.
Since then he find red deer’s most interesting and is fantastic to track
them, and he has been incredibly easy to train.
With 13 month of age he got a 1. prize on 400 meter – 3 hours blood track
and had just turned 2 years of age, when he in Sweden became a tracking
Champion (3 times 1. prize on 600 meter – 20 to 24 hours blood tracks).
When Rod was 10
month old he went to his first show and became excellent 2 and was best male
4 out of 13 and that started his show carrier, which just have been great.
He is well build, a perfect mover and because of his good temperament he
also behaves first-class.
At home he is a very loving dog and do not know for sheer joy which leg to stand on when the grandchildren enter the door.
We are very grateful that this wonderful dog belongs to us.
She is healthy, very good training-, hunting-, family
companion.
She is a very beautiful and elegant feminine bitch.
Nala has sweet temperament and she is very active when needed,
spesially when we do something like
hunting, working dog/obedience and blood tracking.
When we are at home Nala rests and enjoys her life.
She is gentle and reliable with children.

she liked Nalas temperament very much.
